CAMP SHEPPARD HVAC PROJECT

 

BIDDING: Contractors for HVAC will use “two envelope” method;

Please place the following qualifications and documents in an envelope labeled with your contractor name, address, and the word “QUALIFICATIONS”:

1.     Proof of Valid WV Contractors License with Proper Endorsements

2.     Proof of Liability Insurance ($1,000,000)

3.     Proof of Workers Compensation Insurance

 

Please place the following in a second envelope labeled with your contractor name, address,  and the words “BID PROPOSAL”:

1.     Bid Proposal

2.     Simple drawing(s) of proposed project indicating units, duct work and thermostat locations.

Sealed Bids for the Camp Sheppard Dining Hall/Kitchen HVAC Project will be received by the Camp Sheppard Advisory Committee at Roane County Library, 110 Parking Plaza, Spencer, WV 25276 until 4:00 pm September 17, 2019. Bids will be opened at the Camp Sheppard Advisory Meeting at 6pm on September 17, 2019; only bid proposals with complete qualifications will considered for this project

Location: Camp Sheppard 4-H Camp  78 Camp Sheppard Lane, Gandeeville, WV 25243

Dining Hall/Kitchen HVAC:

Remove and prepare for storage two (2) existing ceiling mounted gas furnace units.

Purchase and install the quantity and size of unit(s) needed to properly heat (natural gas) and cool (electric) the dining portion and kitchen space (all of downstairs) of the Camp Sheppard Assembly Hall utilizing energy efficient equipment that carries a minimum 10-year warranty.

Bid price must include all equipment, materials, labor costs and proper disposal of debris. Bid must include verification that the work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment within 180 days after the date of when the Contract commences.

All work must meet approved and accepted building codes including proper duct work, accessories, flues, air outlets and inlets and ventilation. New supply lines, insulation and venting installed as needed. Contractor will be responsible for removing all debris.
